Facebook Groups are notorious for killing off time-sucking meetings and eliminating redundant communications. Can I get an Amen? The only trouble is I can never really be sure EVERYONE saw the communication. We’ve all been there. After 50 emails from 20 different people have poured in to our inbox, we have the right to throw up our hands in despair. Email certainly helps prevent meeting fatigue among church leaders, but it also a pretty poor medium for conducting fairly complex conversations about planning church events and campaigns with more than a handful of people. After a few replies, the conversation evolves, making it really hard to keep up with everything that is being said and nail down actionable steps. Often it turns into an exercise of treading water. We never really get anywhere. The good news is that Facebook provides power features to the church to help make event and campaign planning easy.
